I have only been in England for 6 months. Should I do English GCSE or ESOL?

The are so many courses available now and it has become complicated. However, only ESOL qualifications have been developed specifically to meet the needs of non-native speakers, and so you really need to complete an ESOL course that offers the flexibility required to meet learners’ needs alongside robust assessment. This makes ESOL qualifications the most appropriate route for the vast majority of learners, for whom English is not their first language. We would suggest you completing an ESOL course before all other courses.
